Dear all –
I hope that this message finds you and yours fit and well – and that you are all staying safe at this difficult time. Just a couple of news items this morning…..
As previously advertised, your child’s end-of-year report will be available for you to collect tomorrow – Friday 3rd July – from the main school office. Please adhere to the following times in order to maintain social distancing:-
Nursery: 9.15 – 9.45
Reception: 10.00 – 10.30
Year 1: 10.45 – 11.15
Year 2: 11.30 – 12.00
Year 3: 12.15 – 12.45
Year 4: 1.00 – 1.30
Year 5: 1:45 – 2:15
Year 6: 2.30 – 3.00
Please be aware that PE kits and other property will also be made available for collection at these times.
Can we also remind parents that we will be collecting reading books from parents tomorrow – and that any outstanding/missing books will be charged for.
Classes for 20-21
Those of you who have been associated with our school for some time will be aware that we would usually send out the name of your child’s class teacher for the next academic year alongside our end-of-year reports. However, this will not be possible this year.
Gavin Williamson – Secretary of State for Education – will be making an announcement later today regarding the arrangements for the full opening of schools from September. We expect further detailed guidance to follow over the coming weeks. Until we have all the information from the Department for Education, we will be unable to confirm classes for 20-21. We appreciate that this is not ideal – and that children would like to know who their class teacher will be as soon as possible. Rest assured that this information will be passed across to you as soon as we can confidently provide it.
Thank you for your on-going patience and support.
