My name is Anna Caine and I am the Deputy Head Teacher.
I have worked at Chilton Primary School since January 2010. I was seconded from a local primary school initially – and was made permanent in the role of Deputy Head Teacher in the February of that year.
Graduating from Northumbria in 2002, I taught initially at a school in Spennymoor. Here I became a Fast Track teacher, completing a range of leadership awards and was awarded a TLR for SEND. I taught in KS1 and 2 before moving to Chilton.
In my current role I have a range of responsibilities – lead for teaching and learning, assessment, curriculum and pupil premium. I was awarded my NPQH in 2013 and have been designated as a Specialist Leader of Education (Curriculum Specialism) since 2014.
I consider working at Chilton a privilege and look forward to our exciting future.
