Academy Ambassadors Information 2018-2019
This academic year, Chilton Academy’s ‘Junior Governing Body’ changed its name to become ‘Academy Ambassadors’. The members of this new group were automatically drawn from the previous year’s ‘Pupils of the Year’ winners chosen from each year group. All the other children across the academy were then invited to write letters outlining the reasons as to why they believed they had the qualities that would make them a successful ambassador representative. Pupils of the Year then had the difficult task of selecting representatives from those who submitted letters.
Congratulations to the following pupils!

Autumn 2019 Projects Autumn 2018 Projects
Autumn term was very busy for the Academy Ambassadors, which began with them meeting to plan what they would like to do in the following autumn weeks.
Their first task was to judge the Scarecrow and Pumpkin-carving Competitions. All the ambassadors said how amazing everyone had done and how hard it was to judge – however, they realised decisions had to be made! Winners were announced and displayed on the school website.
The Ambassadors were then proud to encourage the school to take part in 3 fundraising events for charity: The Poppy Appeal, Children in Need and Mission Christmas. For each event, the ambassadors created and presented an assembly to the rest of the school. As usual, the children in school threw themselves into the fundraising activities – both raising money and donated toys for each charity.
