Chilton Academy Friends

We are incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated group who support the school by holding fund-raising events throughout the school year. 

Events include:

Christmas Pantomime Visit - Every December every pupil from Reception to Year 6 go to the Gala Theatre in Durham to see the annual Pantomime. The visit is completely free as the Friends fundraise for this visit throughout the year. We don't leave Nursery children out! They have a special visit from the 'Balloon Man'.

Halloween Sponsored Walk - Watch out Chilton residents as ghosts, ghouls, witches and wizards parade the streets to spook and scare!

Summer and Christmas Fair - Come and visit our annual fairs, organised by Mrs. Humble, one of our dedicated Friends. With over 30 stalls (and alpacas in the summer, and Father Christmas at Christmas) there is something for everyone!

Christmas Parties - We are incredibly grateful for the Friends organising the Christmas parties for our children at Chilton Club each year.

Movie Nights - Always popular, the children can stay behind after school to watch a movie!
